Nathan Summers—guardian of Hope and son of Cyclops—
goes by the name Cable, and he’s used to being on the
run. But the prophetic visions he’s started having are a
new experience, and good for two things: headaches and
the chance to prevent disaster. Cable’s X-Force managed
to stop a horrific virus from escaping a factory owned by
anti-mutant bigots, but were too late to save the factory’s
workers, who were dead when the Uncanny Avengers
arrived. Caught apparently red-handed and not able to
explain, X-Force teleported into hiding.
Laying low in Mexico, Colossus took a break from his guilt over being one of the
Phoenix Five to spend a night with Domino, and then turned himself over to the
authorities. Meanwhile, Cable had a new vision, and convinced the remainder
of his team, Domino, Forge, and Dr. Nemesis, to join him on a spaceship heist.
